A PDF file is now available here listing photographs that are required for the completion of the Field Guide. There are two lists in the document.

List 1 shows species for which we do not currently have any usable photographic material.

List 2 shows species for which we require new/alternate photographs for one of a number of reasons:
1. The existing photograph does not show essential i.d. features clearly enough.
2. Additional images to illustrate specific i.d. characters are required.
3. The quality of the image is not of the standard required.

In both lists, specific requirements as requested by the editors and/or authors, are indicated for some species in italic type.

Please contact Ian Atherton via ‘feedback’ if you are able to contribute any photographs of the species listed. Your help will be very much appreciated. Of course, we will not necessarily be able to use all photographs submitted - the decision to use a particular photograph will be at the discretion of the editors.
