Greyfriars Surgery

Continuous Training

Greyfriars is fortunate to be a training Practice for fully qualified doctors who wish to develop their knowledge of General Practice. Normally a G.P.Registrar will join the practice for either 6 or 12 months and will be a full member of the practice. We also have two Womens Health Registrars attached from the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department of Hereford County Hospital.

We occasionally provide training for other NHS staff; if they are involved in clinical contacts you will be fully informed, given the opportunity to consent and can be reassured confidentiality is insisted upon.

Research, Audit and Development

In order to develop quality care, we are constantly auditing our work and incorporating your concerns and suggestions. We are also approved by the Medical Research Council to be involved in national studies to improve our knowledge and understanding of health.

Quality Health, Quality Care

We are committed to providing high quality care to you and your family. We are actively working with Herefordshire Primary Care Trust and independently offer you high quality care.

PRIMIS+

The practice is making use of the PRIMIS+ resource to improve the quality of the patient information it stores within the practice and improve your medical notes. We will not allow your notes to be divulged to anybody without your consent. If you wish at any time to see or amend your notes please ask for an appointment.
