Eating Disorder Therapy
I specialize in eating disorder therapy for male and female clients. I am told I inspire belief and have a creative way of encouraging my clients to 'want' recovery. I have a unique ‘holistic’ approach, using counselling skills, motivational interviewing, CBT and creative coaching techniques. These skills are bound together with my personal experience of my own recovery. I know how important the use of sensitive and positive language is, in the process of recovery and ‘walk’ with you as you take those tentative steps into the light.
I understand the fear, as I have made the journey myself.
Emotional Eating Therapy
Binge eating disorder is real and it’s a major cause of obesity, lack of self-esteem and depressive illness. We've all heard the term 'comfort' eating; in fact it's a common term, used on a daily basis. If you comfort, binge or compulsively eat (perhaps binge and starve cycles) you're using food to ease emotions and cope with the day to day stresses of life. Sadly diets just don't work and you’ll contact me when you’re ready for a change for life.
Holistic Life Coaching
I am a professionally trained Life Coach and offer coaching services to clients who want to make life changes, for life, or balance areas of their life.

Loving My Years Coaching: Coaching for women over 40. Moving into your 40’s can be a daunting time for some and can bring with it fear, loss of self esteem and worries about age. It doesn’t have to be this way and I want to help you ‘love your years!’
Rehabilitative Coaching: Finally coaching that meets the needs of clients who have suffered ill health, depressive illness or perhaps redundancy etc. I support you as you make positive changes, dipping your toe into the waters of life. Motivating you to get back out into the world and go for it!
The Diet for Life
Now we’re really cooking! We get back to basics and think good, wholesome food, forget fads and diets and sorry no quick fixes. If diets are your thing, then this isn’t for you. We identify triggers, change behaviour, create positive changes and get you moving! You choose what you want to do, walking, perhaps rebound training, yoga for relaxation. My approach to ‘diet’ is massively influenced by my love of getting in touch with nature, going greener and taking control back of my own life. I care about how the food got to my plate and where it came from! I combine this with my therapy based background and coaching. I am often asked if coaching is available to men. Absolutely! It really matters to me that men often get a raw deal when they have an issue to resolve or they need to discuss life and work balance. Skipping breakfast? Not eating breakfast impairs our ability to think and our mood, that’s just for starters.
