Eating Disorder Therapy
I specialize in eating disorder therapy, I am told I inspire belief and have a creative way of encouraging my clients to 'want' recovery. I have a unique approach, self developed techniques, developed over years in private practice and through my personal experience of recovery. I use counselling skills, CBT and creative coaching techniques to ‘walk’ with you as you take those tentative steps and move into recovery. I understand the fear, as I have made the journey myself.

I’ve developed ‘Loving my years’ coaching because I couldn’t find it anywhere else! Maybe I’ve missed something but I’ve seen so much coaching aimed at successful individuals and it’s all shoulder pads, power dressing and a little bit masculine. It’s just not me. Oh don’t get me wrong, I’m never happier than being up to my ears in mud, mucking out the hens or walking in the hills, I just believe coaching can be so powerful delivered with femininity. Yes, to get the results you want!

The Diet for Life
Now we’re really cooking! We get back to basics and think good, wholesome food, forget fads and diets and sorry no quick fixes. If diets are your thing, then this isn’t for you. We identify triggers, change behaviour, create positive changes and get you moving! You choose what you want to do, walking, perhaps rebound training, yoga for relaxation. My approach to ‘diet’ is massively influenced by my love of getting in touch with nature, going greener and taking control back of my own life. I care about how the food got to my plate and where it came from! I combine this with my therapy based background and coaching. I am often asked if I work with male clients with eating disorders and if coaching is available to men. Absolutely! It matters to me that we really have no idea how many men suffer in silence, let’s change this. I also think men get a raw deal when they have an issue to resolve, Coaching is dynamic and powerful for both men and women. All my services are available to you, with the exception of motivation on the move. So a phone call or email is just the start of your journey!

Skipping breakfast? Not eating breakfast impairs our ability to think and our mood, that’s just for starters.
