members and collaborators
membership |All primary care practitioners and managers can become members of the LRU. We have two types of membership available: affiliate member, and research member.
A research member is a member who currently receives research support from the research fellow or receives LRU funding, and is currently active in research.
All other members are affiliate members and have an interest in research or are currently not active in research.Affiliate members are involved in research meetings and updated with news of relevance to primary care research such as funding and conferences.
Research members are beneficiaries of either research support from the research fellow, or are funded under one of the LRU funding schemes.
Research members are expected to involve an academic partner in order to provide them with the necessary academic support for their project.
