Patient information > Overview
premises and parking
Moorfield House and Aylestone Hill surgeries are owned by the Doctors. We attempt to keep all surgeries clean, comfortable and accessible to all patients. Regular reviews are undertaken and changes made to keep the facilities up to date. Restricted car parking facilities are provided at all three surgeries. Please remove your car from the car park once you have been seen as parking is limited at all three sites.
communication by telephone
The practice provides an up to date telephone system. Patients wishing to speak to a doctor or practice nurse can do so by giving their details to a receptionist who will arrange for the doctor or nurse to return the call.
In an emergency, if you need medical help urgently, please telephone the surgery on 01432 272175. When the surgery is closed the answer machine will give you the number of Primecare who provide the out of hours service for Herefordshire. Tel: 0330 123 9309
If you have an accident you will need to contact Accident and Emergency on 01432 372902.
district nurses and health visitor
We have District Nursing and Health visiting teams attached to the practice as well as our Practice Nurses. They help care for our patients in their homes. The District Nurses and Health Visitors are based at Aylestone Hill Surgery.

confidentiality
The Doctors, Nurses and staff all work to ensure confidentiality of all your problems, whether great or small, whether you are young or old, at all times. You can be assured that your personal details will not be confided to any other person or agency, including any other family members unless it is your expressed wish to do so.
disabled patients
Disabled patients can be brought to the surgery door by car near to the gate at the entrance to the surgery. We do provide wheelchairs at all sites for patients to be brought in from the car parks.
Some of our community rooms are upstairs. If you are unable to climb stairs please inform the receptionist when you book your appointments.
We also provide a disabled toilet on the ground floor.
hospital transport
Ambulance transport is only provided to patients who have a medical or a mobility need. It is important that patients only use this service if they have no other means of getting to hospital, or if their medical condition determines it.
If you qualify and need non-emergency patient transport for a hospital appointment please contact the surgery on 272175 and ask to speak to a receptionist who will advise on the criteria for hospital transport.
