Dr Kate Young
Born in Pershore and educated locally. I qualified from Leicester Medical School in 1984 and joined the practice in 1988, becoming the 5th member of the Wilson family to practice medicine in Pershore. I have special interest in palliative medicine and I work one day per week at St Richards Hospice.

Dr Chris Perks
I was born and brought up in Pershore and my interests include ears, noses and throats; sports medicine and teasing my patients. I am a Medical Officer for Shelsley Walsh Hillclimbs and I enjoy photography, old films, and saving for my first Ferrari. I run to stay fit and have close links with a variety of Nepali charities following several trekking and climbing trips.
Dr Gill Johnstone
Qualifications: MB Ch B; DRCOG; DFFP, qualified Sheffield 1986
Medical interests include family and women’s health (including family planning) and nutritional advice.
Most of my spare time is taken up with my immediate and extended family but I do enjoy cooking. I am trying to grow seasonal vegetables for this in my garden, but so far have only managed to increase the local pigeon population. I like to keep fit by running… you may see me pounding the streets of Pershore!
Dr Simon Lee
My medical interests include eyes and I recently became a GP trainer for the Practice with a view to resuming GP registrar training in the practice.
I am married and when I am not running after 3 children, 1 dog, 2 rabbits, 4 cats and 7 chickens, I enjoy mountain walking , fly fishing and photography.
Dr Rod Landymore
I joined the practice in 2003 and my medical interests include cardiovascular medicine, surgery, cryosurgery for skin lesions, rheumatology and renal medicine. Out side of work I can be found blue water sailing and long distance running. I am interested in historic building restoration, art and I enjoy reading.
Dr Claire Weatherup
I qualified at Birmingham University in 1988 and I initially worked in general practice in Kidderminster before joining the practice in 2000. I am currently on the Flexible Career Scheme which enables me to balance working part time with looking after 3 young children. In my spare time I enjoy running and playing tennis and endeavour to keep my garden, dog, chickens and sheep under control.

I started working for the practice in February 2005. Prior to this role most of my work experience was in Higher Education in the UK and Australia including working as School Manager in the School of Health and Social Sciences at the University of Gloucestershire.
Originally from Northumberland I have lived in Worcestershire for 8 years and enjoy walking in the countryside with my husband and young daughter. Most favourite part of my job – working as part of the team. Least favourite part of my job – VAT return.

Born in London in the swinging 60’s but moved to Pershore as a child and have been here ever since. Married with 2 children. I joined Pershore Medical Practice in 1995.
Likes: sitting in the sun reading, working with my team, karaoke parties.

Surprising fact: I represented the Midlands in the National Championships at Crystal Palace in Judo
Favourite holiday spots: The Atlantis Palace in Fuerteventura or St Ives in Cornwall with the Chippendales (our friends not the male dance troupe)!
