Lead researcher

Dr Anthony Theuninck is a Clinical Psychologist who conducted this research study as part of his doctorate in clinical psychology. He has previously researched homophobic stress and trauma experienced by gay and bisexual men in South Africa. Anthony volunteers as a trainer with the Terrence Higgins Trust and has been involved in campaigning for equal rights. He currently practices as a Specialist Clinical Psychologist in the Oxleas NHS Trust.

	Dr Nick Lake is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and the Academic Coordinator on the Salomons Clinical Psychology Training Scheme. He is also employed as the Head of the Sexual Health Psychology Service in West Sussex Health and Social Care NHS Trust.
	Dr Stuart Gibson is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist at CASCAID (HIV MentalHealth Services) in South London & Maudsley NHS Trust. He has been providing clinical services, conducting research, and teaching in HIV for more than 10 years in the UK, Canada and US.
